for the taiko conference wishlist, im thinking we might need new clave???
( a hyotan is the shaker thingy). |

| okay so i sent an email to yumi (san jose taiko, owner of the hyotans) and the price for two is around $120-$160. I'm just going to buy them out of my pocket for now and deal with everything later since yumi is planning on selling them at taiko conference and i want to try and get first pick before she goes. Hope this works for everyone. |

| i dont know but it's always good to have some so people can practice. and the hyotan's im getting are a lot bigger meaning a little easier to play. and it's actually on the cheaper side since yumi is giving us a deal. but either way it's my favorite instrument so if the group only wants one or none, i can just keep them so it's not a big deal. |

| So kelli- you're taking a risk buying the two of them out of pocket. Based on our current group funds and/or the decision of the group, you might be stuck with both of them. Just keep that in mind. BTW, still crashing my place? |
